Beautiful art walls! Each combination is unique and personal. I’ve recently added three Dandy Lion Press bunnylope cards to our art wall in the living room. Now I just need some unique objects and a few more brightly colored prints to finish it off!

I just can’t get over this magazine cover. I’m in love with the colors in this room, and that couch is so fantastic!
This outdoor living space is so charming and wonderful. I love the idea of painting the legs of a picnic table.  I’m obsessed with the white chairs. They look like Acapulco chairs, which I am madly in love with.
Love this birch wall!
The Parker Palm Springs Hotel. I’ve been thinking a lot about Palm Springs lately…

Awesome pallet bookshelf, you’ll hear more about this later. :)
There will be some changes coming soon with the blog…can’t wait to show you!

Lovely Plants

Lovely Plants
The first day of Spring has got me thinking about plants again! I was so focused on the inside of the house this time last year that we haven’t done much outdoors. This year will be different!
I love this birch window box. I want to make a long one to run the length of our large front window.
I’m obsessed with this oval planter with succulents. I love looking at Jeana Sohn’s Closet Visit, not only for the clothes, but for the great interior and exterior shots!
I want to live here! So beautiful!

Bookshelf Love

Bookshelf Love
I’m a firm believer that one can never have enough books. I’m also a firm believer that books should be on display!
Love this staircase bookshelf!
What’s your favorite way to display books? By color, by category, or just randomly? Standing up, or lying down? All together, or spread throughout the house?

I love vintage mugs. I have a mix-mash collection of them I’ve picked up at thrift stores over the years. I love all the different patterns, colors, and unique handles.
Some of my favorite mugs hanging by the kitchen window.

Nicholas and I were lucky enough to have the same day off yesterday, so we treated ourselves to some shopping at Vogue Vintage and lunch at Anita’s Kitchen. It was such a beautiful day!
Here’s what caught my eye at Vogue Vintage, can you guess what I came home with?
Dansk Teak Ice Bucket

Cork Floor Lamp

Danish end table
Here’s what we got!

I could not leave behind the gorgeous Danish Dansk ice bucket. It’s so beautiful! I kind of freaked out a little over this one. :)

Nick’s pick was this lava lamp. It’s a sleek brown model with orange wax, perfect for the family room!

Of course the cork lamp was a keeper…

…and I couldn’t resist this mid-century fish ashtray, even if it is just for looks. :)
Another great day with Nicholas and more great finds for the house!

My home needs more plants! Also, a full-time plant care-taker would be great…I’m not the best at keeping plants alive. I’m really loving these large house plants, so striking!
